Tips for Making a Fruit Salad
Here are a few tips to help you make the perfect fruit salad.
- Use fruit that is in season. You’ll get the freshest ingredients this way. I love to use organic fruit as well.
- Mix colors of fruit. A variety of colors make a gorgeous salad! It’s also fun to do all one color of fruit when you have a theme going on. I love to use green fruits for our Grinch Party.
- Think about fruit textures. Strawberries and pears tend to get softer when mixed with dressing, while grapes and pomegranate seeds will stay crispy. A little of both textures is what you want.
